Customer Review: Great tasting and packs a lot of protein

During my strenuous outdoor activities, hiking, XC Skiing, biking, canoeing and kayaking, I'm always looking for packable, tasty energy bars. I really like the Clif bar variety pack. The price per bar is pretty reasonable compared to others and I like the taste. Taste is pretty subjective though so I can't say for sure that -you- will like them as much as I do, but I do like them a lot.
Another bar that I like is the Larabar and in particular the Cherry Pie flavor. Larabar Fruit & Nut Food Bar, Cherry Pie, 1.7-Ounce Bars (Pack of 16)
One thing about the Clif bar though is if you are packing these in an outside pocket, during the winter, they get as hard as a rock. I found that out during a recent XC Skiing expedetition. I usually try to keep edibles a little bit closer to my body to keep them warmer, but this time I had the Clif bars in an outside pocked and when it was time for my energy boost, I had to gnaw the thing. It's not a complaint, just a heads-up.
Good bars. Mostly organic (like 70%) and lots of protein.
