I purchased this toothpaste after reading a book on dental health and bacterias of the mouth. I was a bit apprehensive about it thinking that it would be medicine like in flavor rather than a nice minty taste like my previous brand. Thankfully, I was wrong. The flavor and the texture of this product is quite similar to any other toothpaste on the market, but its cleaning ability is far more superior. My teeth as well as the teeth of my family members are amazingly whiter. Our gums are so much healthier and my daughters level of bacteria in her mouth has dropped! Our breath and overall oral hygeine has greatly improved from this toothpaste. The book I read stated that one should rinse before brushing so I am now going to order the Closys Rinse and give that a try. I can't imagine using another product for my teeth again. This is a keeper.
