I have been using Urban Decay Primer Potion and I really love it. I saw this and thought I would give it a try.

I love the Coastal Scents eye shadows and thought this was reasonably priced and worth a shot. It doesn't go on as smooth as the Urban Decay product and it doesn't last quite as long but it still does the trick.

I don't recommend this for all day/night use because my eyeshadow started to crease slightly by the end of the business day but it will work as a backup if I run out of Urban Decay. It doesn't spread easily so you may want to scoop out a little and rub it between your fingers before applying it. I find that this heats is up a little and makes for a smoother application.
