I have used many shaving soaps over the past 40 years. Col. Conks is the best I've found in this price range. It lathers up great, stays moist throughout your shave, cleans up well and for me, one bar will last for 4 months or longer. They offer a variety of scents, I've tried Lime, Almond and Bay Rum. I liked them all, but Bay Rum is my favorite.

This shaving soap has the texture of the Col. Conk's Lime soap with all the smell of hypoallergenic acne soap. 4 bars of soap cost nearly as much as the charge for routine shipping. A different brand has Bay Rum shaving soap that "smells like Christmas". The old time Bay Rum sops had a citrus/spice smell. This one smells like nothing.Customer Review: A great shave soap.

I bought the bay rum and the almond. They have a really nice lather that doesn't fade quickly. Nice scent on the bay rum, but a little bit faint. The almond seems to have a much stronger smell to it. I would recommend the bay rum over the almond just on scent alone, unless you just love the smell of almonds.Customer Review: GREAT SHAVING SOAP

This is the first Col. Conk shaving soap I have tried. I like this one very much. It produces a lot of lather, and I love the spice odor. I also got a great shave. I will be ordering more of this product. I do think they are over priced, but nothing we can do about that. Amazon shipped this item quickly.Customer Review: Oh What a Soap

For the price, Conk is a very good soap. A good lather with little effort Lets the blade run easy over the face, and does a nice job keeping the beard moist. The Bay Rum could use a little more scent. For me this soap is at the right price and has the right quality. My search for a shaving soap is over.
