This is also an excellent Shave Soap. It's as good as Van Der Hagen, but more expensive and slightly less mild on the sensitive skin. None the less, I recommend this product highly and the vendor delivered in just a few days. This soap lathers up well, and performs as a glycerin soap should. It smells great, but the smell is gone with a rinse. I got a good fit in my shaving mug by microwaving for about ten seconds, then letting the melted soap cool.
A fine value, well worth trying out.

It smells really good! However, I just found out that a local store stocks shaving soap, although it is not this, it is a bit cheaper...
I'm not sure how long I can stand the local stuff, this smells way better, so I think I'll have to start ordering it in bulk.

I got this soap to go with a mug and brush shaving set for my boyfriend's birthday. He told me it made the best lather he has ever had with a brush set, and he doesn't get nearly as much irritation as he did with shaving cream. Col. Conk's world famous shaving soap. Very satisfied with this product but a bit disappointed that the Bay Rum fragrance was a bit on the timid side. Highly superior to the Williams brand that I had been using.
