Customer Review: WTF!!!! is with this soap!!

This shave soap was the worst shave soap I've ever used!! The soap does not produce a good lather and when you do it drys out very quickly.The smell does not smell like limes..but more like a plastic of some kind.
If your looking for an inexpensive shave soap that gives a great lather and a close shave I would recommend (Van Der Hagen)I have used their shave soap and have had no problem's with it(knock on wood)But as far as
Colonel Ichabod Conk Col. Conk World's Famous,it does not give a good shave.I'm only giving it two stars because of the packaging and color of the soap both I think are cool looking but that's about it.

Works well, retains water far better than the Williams stuff you get at CVS, makes a world of difference in the lather. My only complaint is that it ran out in just 8 uses, although I may have been too vigorous in my lathering. In either case, I just bought a pack of 3, hopefully these will last longer with better technique.Customer Review: This Stuff Stinks

This stuff stinks. And when I say stink, I mean it really smells bad. Like dirty diapers smell bad. It is vile. It was included with the Merkur Futur shaving set I bought. I tried it. Never again. The product works well and gives me a very good shave, but I hate the container. Just a bar of soap in a plastic container. Your probably supposed to open the plastic once and put the shave soap in a soap dish, but that doesn't really work in a shower.Customer Review: Good soap with a nice scent

This soap works into a nice lather for a good shave, and the smell is nice and classic. The scent doesn't last, but then I don't think it is supposed to. Worth the money, especially if you can't find decent shaving soap at a store near you.
