I have been using full face CPAP masks for years now. Originally I was given the Respironics ComfortFull 2 mask which I used for a month. The positives of the mask is it keeps your face warm regardless of what level you have your humidifier set to. However, there were many issues that I experienced with this mask.
First, the temporal adjustment broke on the mask after having used the mask for a little less than a month. This part of the mask is made very poorly, and quite frankly, cheaply. It is held together by very small, fragile teeth which are easily broken, especially if you have a flatter forhead or an air pressure that is set at a higher level.
Second, the mask makes a lot of noise in the ventilation component of the mask when compared to other masks. Unlike the Resmed Quattro (which is the mask I presently have and prefer), the ComfortFull 2 has a ventilation component that spits air straight out in front of your face rather than at an upward angle. This may not seem like a big deal, but if you are sleeping in the same bed as someone, it can be quite annoying to the other person when you roll onto your side.
Third, the mask does not have that great of a suction to it. Air would continue to find a way out and blow into my ear at night, especially when sleeping on my side. This hinders the amount of good sleep you will get at night, which is specifically what these masks are supposed to help you improve on.
So, in short, I would not recommend the Respironics ComfortFull 2. I would, however, recommend the Resmed Quattro (which I have owned for about a year now). It is not nearly as fragile, easily comes apart to clean, makes very little noise, spits air upward and not straight out, and holds a better suction to your face. I would not recommend the ComfortFull2 unless you plan on purchasing a new one every month or two.
