The product works as advertised. I use it to read the ultra small print on computer hardware lables, for which it is perfect. I love the fact that it uses plain-old ordinary AAA's batteries. I would have given it 5 stars if the pop-up mechanism were smoother - it tends stick on one side or the other of the magnifier and requires to be pulled out manually. It's a minor issue, but is still a source of irritation.
