These rollers work well...my only complaint's are, that it is somewhat difficult to keep them in place on your head. They are heavy and it takes many adjustments to try and keep them in place. I ordered and used the ConairPro Pro Clips. The second thing is they get very hot at the ends and you should be carefull not to burn your fingers like I have. The curlers did a great job as far as giving body to my hair. The problem is the clips. They do not keep the curlers in, they kept falling out of my hair. I ended up using hair clips that I have that open really wide and that seems to work. Conair you need to develop a better system.Customer Review: Beautiful Style & Shine

First: My hair is about 2 inches below my bra strap-I have fairly long hair.
This set works near perfectly to give my the look that I want. Nice body, beautiful, soft curls. I use TRESemme Heat Tamer Spray (One of Allures Greatest Products) with the rollers since I the rollers do get very warm.
As a tip to anyone who doesn't know how to use the two different sized rollers... larger rollers go on the top part of your head, and use smaller rollers on the sides.
The one downside, as many have mentioned is the clips. The 'smart clip' is meant to be better than the metal pins, but they truly aren't. The really nice thing about Conair is, if you purchase this, and not like the clips: call them. They shipped me both metal and plastic clips. Great customer service.
I would recommend this item.

The smart clips that came with these rollers are not in the least bit user friendly. I found them impossible to use. The rollers themselves do heat up very quickly, but they get too hot. I tried to use the smart clips and the new rollers for a week but then gave up. I returned to my very old Conair Travel set of 5 Jumbo rollers with my old fashioned metal clips. My new rollers have disappeared into the cabinet underneath my wash basin!
