After having luck with a pervious set of Conair hot rollers I decided on this one. There are four jumbo rollers and eight large rollers, this is great but what isn't great are the clips! They don't fit the jumbo rollers once you get your hair wrapped around it and they leave dents in your hair. They are large, plasitc, hinged clips so storage is a pain as well, there is no storage for these clips on the set itself so I had to find a little plastic bucket for them. This will be a pain when I travel.
My previous set of Conair hot rollers was pretty similar to this one except all of the curlers were the large size and they had regular metal clips with storage for the clips on the set. I wish I could find this same set again!
I am sure there are other hot rollers on the market that would be a lot more convenient!

First: My hair is about 2 inches below my bra strap-I have fairly long hair.
This set works near perfectly to give my the look that I want. Nice body, beautiful, soft curls. I use TRESemme Heat Tamer Spray (One of Allures Greatest Products) with the rollers since I the rollers do get very warm.
As a tip to anyone who doesn't know how to use the two different sized rollers... larger rollers go on the top part of your head, and use smaller rollers on the sides.
The one downside, as many have mentioned is the clips. The 'smart clip' is meant to be better than the metal pins, but they truly aren't. The really nice thing about Conair is, if you purchase this, and not like the clips: call them. They shipped me both metal and plastic clips. Great customer service.
I would recommend this item.

I bought this product tonight and just used the hot rollers. They were ready to go in about 3 minutes. I have never used hot rollers before so it was somewhat of a disaster... I tried to start from the bottom and work up... don't ask why. I seriously had no idea what i was doing. But in the end when I took them out i had much more volume than usual and some wave. I was really happy just with that. My hair is really flat and thin and I hate it.
So naturally I went looking around on the internet trying to figure out how to use these rollers and found this video on youtube.

I can't wait to try again tomorrow! Since I have seen so many posts about people not knowing how to use the wire clips, I thought I would share :)

I was excited to have only JUMBO rollers to us for styling and more than only 6 of them.
This set MEANS well but the rollers are so incredibly HOT to the touch (of both fingers and scalp) that they heat up the clips to the point of singeing hair and skin.
I would have preferred a temperature controlled version of this product and am sorry that I gave my sister my previous multi-sized roller set that DID have temp control.
Also, these clips SUCK. They leave horrible indentations....would have been great to have been given the larger, claw type of clips that would accommodate the larger sized rollers sans the metal that becomes very uncomfortable to sport for longer than 30 seconds.
I'd return this but I'm too busy and I've used it......buyer beware of HEAT.

Bought these because I wanted the hot roller effect, but not 1980's prom hair... The reason I gave these rollers 3/5 is two-fold; the clips that come with these rollers do NOT fit around the rollers. If you have any other conair rollers you'll see the only difference in the sets of clips is their color... no size difference at all. This makes it nearly impossible to firmly hold your rollers in place. I highly recommend getting the suggested pro clips - as I resorted to mine to set my hair.
As for the rollers, they are nothing special - but the size is good, curl is nice and not overboard.
I have fine blonde hair, but a ton of it - I could've used a few more rollers to set all of my hair... had to finish the look with a curling iron.
