I purchased what I believe to be an older model, the FB11 (it has a dial @ the top with the same vibrating/heat/bubble features that the "toe control" buttons offer on the FB11N) and I'm very pleased. I purchased it, in spite of the not-so-great reviews that I read here on Amazon! I got a good deal, and as a NEWBIE to home foot spas, or even salon pedicure treatments in general (I've had TWO in my 36 years) I just wanted to "get my feet wet," so to speak and was able to do so @ a good price. I used some of the suggestions I read here and on reviews of other spas, such as using warmer than you normally would water, and it still didn't keep it piping hot... but it did stay warm enough for me to get a nice 15 minute soak. The bubble feature was QUITE bubbly... and splashy... but that can be remedied by doing a test run and filling up to the max water line WITH your feet inside the spa... not going to the max fill line, sticking your feet in and then wondering why you are splashing everywhere! Your feet do displace the water somewhat... so keep that in mind.
I'm extremely pleased with the purchase. I'm not accustomed to professional pedicure bubbling machine-things @ salons, so I'm not "spoiled" in that regard... and this is so convenient... I'm a mom with 2 kids under 4 whose hubby is away on business A LOT and need some pampering. I can't justify 45 minutes in a salon... would have to hire a sitter... and its just too much trouble AND too much money. I need 15 minutes to myself after the kids are in bed... It did wonders for my outlook!
