Customer Reviews of Conair FB12NR Ultra Massaging Footbath with Water JetCustomer Review: very lamn, buy the dr. scholls Summary: 2 Starstook it back for the dr. scholl's version. which is 10 times better. conairs heating didn't work good at all and its jets were weak. everything was weak about it. the dr. scholls version not only keeps the water warm, it will warm cooled water! it also has an infrared unit which isn't offered on the others. the jets are very powerful, as well. i was surprised. i honestly didn't expect that out of any of them. save your money on the conair. it is way over priced.
Customer Review: WEAK! Save your money Summary: 2 Starsthis things is not very good. i just bought it and took it back within hours. it doesn't heat the water, like others on the market, and it doesn't even keep it warm like it says. also the jets are very weak. i hate conair and only bought it cause the lady at the store said her daugher said it was the best one out there. i don't even know how they stay in business. everything they make is usually done half-assed. i went back and went with my first instinct, the dr. scholls version. that one rocks! not only does it actually heat cool water it also has an infrared unit on the front. the jets are very powerful and it has all the options of the other delux spa. trust me, there is a better deal out there!
Customer Review: Disappointing Summary: 1 StarsThis product disappointed me in two important areas: very weak vibration (which I view as the most important element in a relaxing foot treatment), and maintenance of water temperature (the unit could not maintain more than a low tepid temperature)
Customer Review: I'm happy with it Summary: 4 StarsI give myself regular pedicures and I chose this Conair over the Homedics because of: 1) customer reviews stated that the Homedics was very noisy and 2) I was attracted to the various pedicure attachments and the massage rollers --considering my needs, overall, this product delivers pretty much what it promises Pros: nice design, very sturdy, doesn't slide, nice and deep, cord is reasonably long, motor is quiet on the first setting, removable splash guard and massage rollers are a good feature, so are the water jets and the pedicure attachments Cons: the loofah pads are too soft and not very effective, the water cools off more than I would like, motor noise gets considerably louder on settings 2 and 3, the attachments motor is not as powerful as I would like Notes: It took me some time to figure out the best way to use the attachments; it's a little awkward to have to push down on them to activate them AND rotate your foot at the same time to cover all the areas --if these attachments rotated on their own this would be a lot easier --also, I did not receive any gel inserts P.S. I would love to see this footbath with the massage rollers on the bottom moving slowly back and forth on their own covering the whole lenght of the soles of your feet !!!! --Conair are you listening ????
Customer Review: A pretty good foot spa but not the best... Summary: 3 StarsPros: 1) This foot spa does have the best water action of the 3 foot spas I've tried (the others were Homedics Bubble Spa Ultra BS-100HDB and Remington Aupressure Foot Spa F-7027). It's the only one I've come across that has water jets which are much more effective than just the bubbles in the other foot spas. 2) The attachments on this are decent but not as good as the attachments on the Remington. The attachments spin when you apply pressure. Cons: 1) Needs a more powerful heater to maintain the heat because the agitation causes the heat to leave more quickly than other foot spas I've used. 2) Massage action isn't as good as the Homedics foot spa. 3) There are rollers on the bottom of the spa bed that you can run your feet over. The rollers have little spikes on them which are somewhat uncomfortable. You can remove them though. The Remington spa also offers the spiky rollers but it has another set which are more comfortable. 4) Attachments could be better. I like the Remington attachments best which includes an attachment of magnetic, metal balls that go up and down and spin. 5) Top doesn't flip back like the Homedics spa. Bottom line: I loved the water action but the quick loss of temperature, mediocre massage, and better attachments on the Remington mean I wouldn't rate this one as the best. I'm going to try the newest Homedics that has the spinning attachments. The Homedics spa I've used had the best massage and that ended up being the most soothing to my feet. Wish the Homedics had jet action too!!
