The heating pad heats alright and shuts off if you leave it on too much, however, when your putting it
behind you for your back it bunches up. Since this is what I use is it for the most, the heating pad
is a mess it's so bunched up I have to try and straighten it each time I use it now. Wouldn't recommend
it to anybody.

The heating pad is a good size for shoulders and back especially. It has an automatic shut-off which is a safety device and the controls are easy to maneuver with just a touch. The pad is fairy flexible and therefore not as stiff as some others I've seen. I use it in my massage practice and am very pleased with its performance.Customer Review: A Bit Disappointed

I was a nit disappointed with the heating pad. It seems rather stiff and doesn't loosen much when heated. But mostly I was disappointed in the temperature range. It doesn't seem to get very hot even on high. My old pad, probably 25 years old, was from Sears. It got much hotter than this pad.Customer Review: Love the auto-off!

The pad is large and can cover a good bit of the spine---more that the usual size heating pad. But my favorite is the auto-off. I leave the pad in my desk chair, and don't have to worry about forgetting to turn it off. It goes off in two hours, which is perfect and worry-free.

My wife and I have used heating pads for over 40 years and the Conaire is the finest product we have used. It resides on my bed for treating my arthritic back and is large enough to provide warmth for the whole back which is especially useful in the winter.
