Customer Reviews of Conair Infiniti Tourmaline Hair Designer (Wine)

Customer Review: YEah!!! Not at all worth even $10
Summary: 1 Stars

Well.. this was interesting. After reading all the reviews I thought this was a great product.. Not at all. I is a very heavy dryer, the straightening attachment is crap, it would take 2 hours using this even if your hair is thin.. Since the air is blowing the air follicles way straigh from the drying instead of going with the "grain" of the hair you result in frizzy "dry" looking hair. I ended up washing my hair all over again BTW my hair is super process blonde hair and its wavy thick hair (I am white) so my hair is manageable and not dry or damaged at all. I ended up just useing the blow dryer as a regular drying and rouhd brush.. Doing the old fashion roller brush blow out.. My hair was softer though than using my other dryer. I will say that.. but did my hair looking 1/2 as good If I went to a salon useing the striaghtening attachment.. Hell no!! lol.. not even close.. so I give this a 1 star becuase its useless as what your paying the product for.. all its good for is using it as a regular dryer, but for $50 I would have bought a chi hairdryer.. :( .. oh well... stick to blowing out your hair. Short cuts = a frizzy messs

Customer Review: Great for the wild gray hairs!
Summary: 4 Stars

I absolutely love this dryer. I too own several expensive hair gadgets and products that promise to make your hair straight and silky, and this dryer does a fantastic job for my hair by delivering a quick, straight, silky style in record time. I have medium length wirey gray hair that is prone to frizz with moisture; If I section my hair as per the instruction guide and use long, slow strokes while holding the ends of my hair, it performs as advertised. I did find it a bit awkward at first to use, so it takes a few tries to get used to it. My only complaint is that I find it difficult with bangs; otherwise, I am extremely pleased with the results. I have been straightening my hair for a couple of years, but since I have been using this dryer, I've received many compliments on how healthy my hair looks.

I have not used it to curl or do other manipulations with my hair, so I cannot comment on the ease of use for those purposes. So, for a sleek, straight look, I find it incredibly easy and quick, and have recommended it to friends. BTW, it is more expensive at Sharper Image, where I bought it last month.

Customer Review: Love It
Summary: 5 Stars

Honestly, I have no idea how anyone could give this dryer a bad review. I got it for Christmas, and I absolutely love it. I always just let my hair dry naturally before, and then straightened it with my straightener, because I hated how time-consuming and awkward blow-drying with a round brush was. This dryer got my hair smoother than my straightener ever has, and I have a lot more body too! I really looked like I had just been to a salon! The only thing I can figure is that people aren't even looking at the instructions and therefore aren't using it properly. It's not hard to use at all. You're supposed to hold the ends of your hair taut and then when you get to the ends you just curl them around the dryer attachment. It's not rocket science! Also, if you separate your hair into sections using clips (which the instructions suggest doing!) and dry section by section, then it's really quick and easy. Also, use the cool shot button on each section to finish it (closes the hair shaft and locks in style, i.e. helps eliminate frizz). If you do all of that, I really don't see how you can go wrong.

Customer Review: Something for you low maintenance gals out there!
Summary: 5 Stars

I have kind of problem hair: thick but fine, wavy in the back but stick straight in front, limp, cowlickie, and slippery. I've tried SO MANY PRODUCTS!! smoothers, de-frizzers, straighteners, blow dryers, straightening dryers, drying straighteners, brushes, combs, EVERYTHING YOU CAN THINK OF!! I have asked every new hair stylist I can for tips. Most try and sell me expensive creams, sprays or treatments. They never work! If I wanted my hair to be presentable, I would need to set aside at least 45 minutes, sometimes up to an hour if I wanted to look really good. I saw this product and thought it was too good to be true - dry, straighten, bodify, de-tangle, and smooth all in one?! I gave it a shot and found it to be the best tool I have in my arsenal to date! It takes less than 20 minutes to go from wet to straight, smooth, bodified hair with minimal split ends! I get SO many more compliments and saving at least 20 minutes a day really adds up! If you have tried other multi-step hair systems in the past or have thought of it, I encourage you to give this product a chance. It's worth Review: Worth the money
Summary: 4 Stars I just bought this dryer, and so far i'm loving it! My hair is wavy, so i can't tell you it's great on super curly hair. But it makes my hair silky soft and very smooth, where i normally have frizz and static, even with a round brush or straightening iron (i'm just not good with them i guess).

I've read some of the other reviews, and i think people aren't using the options on the attachment to their full advantage. The attachment can be placed at any angle around the dryer, so it's not really that hard to figure out which way to place it to get it at the right angle for whichever part of your hair your working on. And there is a tension dial that can hold your hair tighter if needed, i'm guessing some people aren't using that so they think it doesn't hold their hair. So you might not be able to just pull it out of the box and go, but with just a tiny bit of trial and error, anyone should be able to use this and get good results.

Overall, I highly reccommend this product, much easier and quicker than blowing dry and then flat ironing my hair and better results.
