Customer Review: Nice but warranty from Conair stinks

I used it about ten times in 7 weeks and now the cheap plastic switch doesn't work anymore. Needless to say I cannot use it, cannot turn it on or off. I never left it plugged in when not in use. It didn't get wet. And their warranty is only good for 30 days. In this day and age / throw away society I guess they don't expect it to last any longer than 30 days before you have problems. Prior to this I owned a Clariol hot roller set for 20 years before it died. I am so disappointed that now I have to add it to a land fill because though it looks brand new it sure doesn't work. The set was wonderful but now that it's broken with no hope of replacement it's BOO to Conair.

This Conair Instant Heat Dual Ionic Hair Setter takes 2 minutes and the rollers are ready for use. It uses ionic energy to neutralize positive charges in the air that cause frizziness and static electricity, while ceramic rollers provide better heat transfer for extra shine and conditioning. Includes 20 multi-size rollers with styling clips. Imported.Quick to heat and gentle on your hair, these hot rollers make it easy to curl hair every day instead of just on special occasions. Rollers heat up in just two minutes from their ionic port and are charged with ionic energy, which protects your hair from frizziness and static and actually promotes conditioning and shine while you curl.
