Customer Review: Nice but warranty from Conair stinks

I used it about ten times in 7 weeks and now the cheap plastic switch doesn't work anymore. Needless to say I cannot use it, cannot turn it on or off. I never left it plugged in when not in use. It didn't get wet. And their warranty is only good for 30 days. In this day and age / throw away society I guess they don't expect it to last any longer than 30 days before you have problems. Prior to this I owned a Clariol hot roller set for 20 years before it died. I am so disappointed that now I have to add it to a land fill because though it looks brand new it sure doesn't work. The set was wonderful but now that it's broken with no hope of replacement it's BOO to Conair.Customer Review: Smooths hair and nice curl.

I originally bought the Conair Tourmaline but didn't like the clips. The set was excellent. These have the similar temperature control. They work great and help get rid of the frizz. I prefer the wire clips. When this stops working I'm going to buy the newer model and use the clips from this set. Gives a nice curl that seems to last. Sometimes it's too curly when I first take it out. I would highly recommend these. I've tried others.Customer Review: Save your money

I don't know how many conair hot roller sets I've bought over my life - 10, 15? They're ok (just "ok") for about a month, then they don't get hot anymore and are useless. I've never seen an alternative hot roller set until Caruso, so I'm gonna give those a try. Conair is a waste.Customer Review: worth the price

This hot roller set is definitely worth the $25 I paid. It sets your hair beautifully every time. 3 different size rollers and an adjustable temperature setting so you can really customize your style. I do wish there were some jumbo size rollers in this set, and I don't really like the clips that come with it. I do like that you can lift one side of the unit to take out a roller while not losing any heat from the other side.Customer Review: Great set

I love this hair curler set. I have purchased two of them now, one for each daughter. Both have long, thick hair and we find that it does an excellent job of providing just the right amount of curl for those occasions when you need it. It takes just a few minutes to heat up and the soft velvet lining on the rods make it less damaging to hair.
The only thing I always hate is the clips! Even though there is a small case to hold them, sometimes they get lost! Replacement clip sets would be much appreciated. I think the curler set contains just the right number of each size of roller -- even better though would be to have two ore large ones!!
Recommended.
