I was extremely disappointed with the Conair MBTS2N Deluxe Soft Cushion Thermal Bath Spa. It was unbelievably noisy at both speeds, sounding much like a freight train going through my bathroom; it would not stay put and keep sliding around in the tub -- the suction cups were worthless; and the on/off button (encased in soft plastic)was very hard to push. One use and I knew it did not deliver as promised. I planned to return the item, but when I found out that I would not only be charged for shipping and handling of the return (which I expected), but that I would also have to pay for delivery of the item to me because I had used Amazon's SuperSaver option, I opted to donate the item to the thrift store at which I volunteer.Customer Review: Great Gift

I recieved this item for a Christmas present from my 6 and 8 year olds. If you like relaxing in the tub, this is the best! I didn't mind the sound that previous posts described as annoying. It never fails, that when a mom tries to relax, you hear fighting, animals, husband's ballgame, etc. Well, not anymore. You will feel your body slip into a nice hot tub and escape to another world!!! It drowned out the noises us mothers hear while we are trying to relax, making the moment more enjoyable! Only one concern: Use only a little bit of bubbles! Bath beads and oils along with a candle lit bathroom is the best way to go!! Pick this up for this coming Mother's Day, your wife, mom, girlfriend will love it!!!!Customer Review: Winter Wonderland

At first I was thrilled when my husband got me this for Christmas...he knows how much I like my baths! When I first turned it on I was quite pleased. The jets are very powerful and felt wonderful! However, I soon realized that the air being forced out felt colder and colder until it was really quite uncomfortable.Also, the mat kind of "floats up" in spite of the suction cups and sticks against my skin in a way that I find annoying, especially considering that the surface feels cold due to the air being shot at you.
Altogether I am disappointed and sad that my present turned out this way. My husband is very disappointed too.

I have had three of these conair bath spas now and have enjoyed them all. However, I prefer the hard rather than the soft cushion -- it stays underwater better during use so I have continued to use the original hard cushion with each of my machines. The one thing I wish that they did was keep the water hot but not sure how that could be done.
I do like this type of device more than others because it allows you to use aromatherapy oils and bubblebath while using the spa.
I recommend this to anyone who likes jacuzzis but can't afford one of their own -- this is a good substitute.

I was surprised that the product actually worked as pictured on the box. The bubbles are pretty powerful -- start with a low setting and don't put in any bubble bath until the mat is turned on, or else you can end up with 4 feet of bubbles and a possible overflow! It is also a little tricky to get positioned and keep the mat pinned down, but the end result is worth it. The water DOES feel cooler when aerated, so I would start with a small amount of water and add hot while the mat is on. Then it becomes a steamy, bubbly delight! Well worth the money!
