I got this product at the local Claires in Iowa City/ Coralville, because the commercial rocked and was pretty high quality. I love conair products, so I got this since I like change, and I'm 12, so I can only get temporary. The instructions were very confusing, but I think i have it down... anyways, i put in blue streaks, and they look great! Other than how i didn't mean to look punk, i love it. It helps to scrape a little off of the top with the touchup brush included. Remember to hold your hair straight and tight!Customer Review: More toy than a real hair color tool

I bought this tool for my daughter because she wanted to apply real color to her hair and i did not agree due to my fear of chemicals and their side effects on the scalp.. I bought this brush as an alternative, but it was not as we expected, its very hard to apply the color which is more glue than color, the finished result is grainy and looks like a mess..my daughter was frusterated with it and had to apply water to the colors to get them to stain.. this tool is not what it claims to be.Customer Review: Great Product for Kids

When my daughter first recieved this about 6 months ago we used it several times and it was a lot of fun! I had to do her hair because it is not good to try to do it yourself! We forgot about it; then we pulled it out again to use it before school yesterday morning and all the cartridges were dried out--I used water to try and moisten them and it didn't work! I called the company and they said that they would send me out a replacement. At least conair stands by their product!Customer Review: Lots of fun!

I purchased the Conair Pro Color Accents kit to use at my daughter's 9th birthday party. It took a little getting used to, but we quickly got the hang of it. In order to get vivid color I had to go over the hair a few times. It was great for a few "streaks" around the face, but I wouldn't recommend it for overall highlights. I had read the customer reviews on Amazon before purchasing it, so I knew what to expect. It was perfect for the party - The girls were very happy.Customer Review: Yay, covers the gray!!!!

I'm having fun with this product. It's always available....not having to heat up or anything. Having about 70% gray it covers quite well although I use it for highlights rather than streaks or stripes. Never seeing the television ad for it I didn't have expectations.
It took me awhile getting the knack of it....the slower you pull it through the better color you get.
Great price for appliance and I also got a refill.
