My daughter loves to use this. Once you get the hang of it it's fun to use and decorate your hair with. She was 8yrs when we got it and able to do it by herself. We did order extra gems.Customer Review: Didn't use

i got this item for my 5 year old, because everytime she saw the commercial she would sing to it and said she wanted it. when we got it and tried it on her hair i was impressed with how well it works. but i wouldn't suggest this item for such a young consumer lol, she pulled them all out within minutes. it would be really cool though for preteens!
