I've been using conair hot rollers for about 15 years. My old travel set and my "home set" (which is a larger 12 roller set) have broken covers, worn rollers, and strectched out wire clips (They both came with wire and plastic clips. I never liked and only used the plastic clips that came with them one time). I needed hot curlers to bring with me to my niece's wedding that would heat and set my hair quickly and not take up too much room in my suitcase. I have long, very straight, fine (but a lot of it) hair and I wanted large rollers, so I ordered this set.
I used these rollers for the wedding and my hair was WOW! They heated up quickly and got hot enough to set my hair quickly with curls that lasted for the duration of the wedding (a not very common occurrence for my hair!)I was so pleased that I ordered a second set so that I can use one for travel and combined the 2 to replace the large "home Set" I have if I decide to use more than the 5 rollers provided in one set (they are easier to store separeately than the large set).
The only cons are the fact that the travel size is still a bit bulky, though they take up less room then my original travel set and the clips are terrible. I would suggest they put these rollers in a linear case to cut down on the bulkiness of the design. As for the clips, I just saved the wire clips from my old sets and use those and would suggest they put both wire and plastic cllips with the product to give the consumer the option of which clips to use like they used to ). The only other con is that it was shipped UPS and although I got very fast service which was GREAT and the first set was in perfect condition....the second set came in a pretty crushed box with very little protection around the item inside that box...fortunately the set was not damaged.
