I used to own a newer version of these curlers, and those were fantastic. When mine broke, I bought these. What a mistake! These do NOT get hot no matter how long you leave them plugged, and they still come with the terrible clips instead of normal metal holders. The clips leave marks on your hair, hold the curlers poorly, and were replaced by Conair in later models of this product. Do NOT buy these! Oh, and they're also terrible for travel. The size is good for a sink, not a suitcase.Customer Review: Good

Love the size of the rollers. Just what you need for long hair. While this is a "travel" hairsetter, the company should make a set with 10 Rollers (all jumbo size) as I had to purchase 2 sets for everyday use. The cover is terrible. Pretty much guaranteed, the cover will crack within 6 months of use. I'm already on my third set and when you call or write -- you dont get any response for replacement or with any solution. Just have to buy a new one. I'm alredy on my third set. Not good!Customer Review: great travel curlers

This is a great travel set - just like my regular set, just a smaller version. The only thing I found odd was that the set came with "super clips" instead of "wire clips." (1) This is a TRAVEL set, why include something larger (instead of smaller) for travel? (2) There is a pocket in the set to hold the wire clips - why not include the wire clips instead? I've already written to Conair to bring this to their attention. I did order the wire clips to put with the set to use for traveling!Customer Review: Love & Hate

Love the jumbo size, but there are not enough rollers. They work well, and the flocked feature protects from hair breakage, compared with the plastic coated type with little spikes. What I do not like is that the plastic case breaks easily....I am on my second set, and it too has broken. Also, hair easily collects in the bottom and is difficult to remove. Would prefer a soft sided carrier, which would be much easier for travel. This model takes up a lot of room in my carry-on bag.Customer Review: Great compact set....but not for travel...

I love these rollers. In fact, I'm on my third set. If you close the lid they do get very very hot, and they don't take up much room on the bathroom counter. My only complaint is that they take up a huge amount of room in a suitcase. And, the plastic lid cracks. In fact, that's why I'm on my third set. After about a year of business trips, the lid will be cracked beyond use. So, I'm going to buy another set of these for the bathroom counter, and try another brand for the road.
