My Review on the 22nd of March
In 2002, I bought the first hairdresser from CONAIR - hair setter. In fact, I fall in love with it, as it was my best friend since then. I didn't know that all their hairdressers will give me as rewarding results until I tried this year three of their products, which are CONAIR CHV26IX, CS19JCS and CD 160DRCS.
Hair dressing has never been as easy. I've tried many from other brands but none worked with me and gave me salon results as CONAIR, I thought the problem was with my curly hair until I tried CONAIR ones. Their products are life saving!
Thank you CONAIR, you've always been my best friend wherever I go.. : )

I loved this hair setter so much. I bought one for one of my relatives on May and today I'm going to order two hair setters for two of my friends. Buy it for yourself first, if you find it effective, don't forget that YOUR BELOVED ONES DESERVE ONE =)

This is the first set of hot curlers I've ever owned. I wanted some quick and easy curls so I wouldn't have to spend a good hour or so of quality time with my curling iron. Needless to say my curling iron and I are still doing a lot of bonding and the hot curlers usually stay hidden on the shelf.
The curlers heat up well but I have to use the really small curlers just to get large curls. If I use anything larger my hair will return to being pin straight in a matter of minutes. The directions say to just let go of the curler and let it fall. My hair gets tangled in the curler and I have to pull all kinds of hair out of the curler and it frizzes out.
The reason I keep the curlers is because my hair is waist length and pin straight. If I use the small and medium curlers all over and then go back over my entire head with the curling iron, I have celebrity curls all day. Would I buy this product again? No. Do I regret buying it? Not at all. It's inexpensive and it seems to work fine for other people on here. Just not great for my hair type.

DO NOT PURCHSE THIS PRODUCT IF YOU WANT WHAT IS ADVERTISED. The supplier of this product is not supplying the product as advertised. The unit should come with the SMART Clips(Plastic Clips) but instead is supplied with cheap wire clips that do not secure your hair. I purchased the product because of my fine hair and looked forward to the SMART Clips keeping the hair on the rollers. The Product shown and the insert in the package shows and states I should have these clips.
After contacting the supplier I am told that I would have to pay a further $4.95 +S/H to get these clips. Well why is this so,if I have paid for them and they were supposed to have these already supplied with the product purchased. The customer service operator was not helpful, rude and refused to let me talk to her supervisor or any one in authority, other then repeating I will have to pay for these supposedly supplied Smart Clips.
After the treatment I recieved with the Customer Service people at Conair I would never recommend their products to anyone.
Customer Review: LOVE MY HOT ROLLERS, BUT 5 Stars
I've owned these hot rollers for about 10 years and have loved using them. I have long wavy-curly coarse hair and after drying my hair and rolling it up, the hairsetter leaves my hair tamed, soft and shiny. So when it got to the point that I've worn off come of the flocking, I decided to order another set from Amazon. Order arrive in just 2 days, but what I received was not the item that was pictured, which was the blue & silver set with the jaw clips. I received the pink rollers - which is what is now pictured on the website. I contacted Amazon and they sent out another hairsetter, stating that I would receive what I ordered. Once again, I received the pink ones. I tried them out and did not like them near as well as the blue ones. Didn't heat up as good at all, and I didn't like the smaller rollers,or the new style clips, so I sent it back too. Since my 2 returns, Amazon has corrected the pic on their site - which is a totally different hairsetter. I'll keep looking for my blue ones.Customer Review: not too shabby... the clips are terrible, though

first of all, do NOT buy this from amazon. they will overcharge you and i purchased mine for like 20 bucks at drugstore.com. that being said, these curlers are awesome. i've been very impressed with my hair (which is pretty dry and unhealthy so it curls easily). My hair holds the curls and looks shiny - also, it only takes about 15 min to set.
My hair looks flippy and cute right now because i curled it the night before! yay.
my only complaint is that the pins to hold the curlers SUCK. ugh. what a pain in the butt. i have to hold my head annoyingly still so the curlers dont slip out. those stupid pins dont work well at all. i usually put the curlers in and then put on a cap so i can go around without them falling out.
i bought other conair clips that are supposed to keep the curlers in place but they sucked as well. i will be giving them a neg review for sure. still, the curlers themselves are great!
