First of all, my rollers came with the fishy shaped looking clips. I hate them. They do not hold my thick, wavy hair and they also leave a weird indentation that gets "burned" into the hair. So, in the middle of the curl, there is an occasional flat "whip" mark. Additionally, my hair gets caught on the hinge part of the clip. The lid cracked and broke off two weeks after I bought it.
I really don't like these. I miss my old rollers, which had the velvety cover on the roller and a softer heat that seemed to do less damage to my long hair. Usually I use my rollers until they wear out, but I am going to donate these to the Salvation Army along with a NEW box of clips!

After reading all the reviews for the Conair hair setter I was set on buying it but still skeptical about the promised results. After I have tried other roller and curling irons and nothing compares to this great product! All I have to do is plug it in waitr a few minutes, put the rollers on and by the time the last roller is placed I can take the first roller out, it works that fast. Since the rollers don't feel hot to the touch I thought they were not working but wow whne I took them off my hair I had volumunous curls! Even running a hair brush over them did not mess them up! If you want great curls and don't have much time to put into your hair this is the product for you!Customer Review: Conair Hot Rollers

I found this Conair Instant hair set of rollers very nice but as I'm disabled I found that I needed my caregiver to work with them....She prefered the curling iron which is faster for her.
Also don't like the fact that there was no street or city/state address so just returned them to Amazon.com but felt uneasy about this..until I got a response that they were received by Amazon.
At the postoffice I tried to get a delivery confirmation but was told they don't do this without a regular address... Just a suggestion I think most people would prefer a regular address to send back returns.

Customer Review: Good, fast ,curls of all sizes

I like these rollers. I was wary because of the lid comments, so I wasn't sure if I would be pleased. I found the lid to be just fine. Just know that you probably will never travel with them; it's a big set of rollers! I like the fact that the lid stays affixed to the rollers. (One less thing to clutter my space.)
My complaint is, why don't these companies build in a slot for the clips? I have trashed perfectly adequate electric rollers in the past when I couldn't find their clips. This set comes with a small fabric envelope, made to hold the clips.
I guess the temperature gauge would be useful to some, but I just leave it on the 'high' setting.
Customer Review: Nice but warranty from Conair stinks

I used it about ten times in 7 weeks and now the cheap plastic switch doesn't work anymore. Needless to say I cannot use it, cannot turn it on or off. I never left it plugged in when not in use. It didn't get wet. And their warranty is only good for 30 days. In this day and age / throw away society I guess they don't expect it to last any longer than 30 days before you have problems. Prior to this I owned a Clariol hot roller set for 20 years before it died. I am so disappointed that now I have to add it to a land fill because though it looks brand new it sure doesn't work. The set was wonderful but now that it's broken with no hope of replacement it's BOO to Conair.
