Customer Reviews of Coppertone Sunless Tanning Moisturizing Lotion, Gradual Tan, 9-Ounce Pump Bottles (Pack of 2)Customer Review: Woohoo! I'm yellow... and so is my shirt!!! Summary: 1 Stars
I'm a fair skinned person. I try to avoid dying from cancer if at all possible so I avoid the death beds... errr... tanning beds. I figured, "Hey, let me get one of those fake looking brown tans that all the sexy movie stars have." The operable word there is BROWN. Not YELLOW! PS- I followed the directions. It's not rocket science. For those of you who think you're getting a good tan, step outside into the sunlight and bring a mirror with you. Then let us know if you still like your color.
Bottom line- if you have the urgent need to be yellow for some reason or if you hate the look of that non-yellow shirt that you're wearing, this product is most certainly for you.
Customer Review: The best self tanner that I have found... Summary: 5 Stars
I have used at least a dozen different self tanners including lotions, sprays, and foams - both grocery store and department store brands. This is easily my favorite. It provides a gradual, natural, BROWN tan (not orange or fake looking). It is very easy to use, doesn't streak, and doesn't smell bad as many others do. I actually started using it while on vacation and I really thought that I had a natural tan (which I try to avoid, being over 30 and fair skinned), but after continuing to use it when I returned, I realized that it was the product. As I am posting this review, I am replenishing my supply and I hope that Coppertone will continue to produce this product!
Customer Review: FINALLY.... Summary: 5 Stars
After reading the other reviews on this site as well as a few others I decided to try this product. I used a homemade exfoliater in the shower (baby oil mixed with sugar) and then put this on with some latex gloves. I am so happy I tried this. I am very pale to begin with so streaking is a big problem with most tanners...not this one. There was no darker areas around my ankles and knees. The color was brown, not orange. And no streaking. It was very easy to apply and I love the fact that I can build on the tan instead of jumping from translucent to over baked! I am finally happy with a self tanner...and the price ain't bad either!
Customer Review: Love it! Summary: 5 Stars
A friend recommended this tanning product to me. My skin is white-I mean, WHITE. And this time of year, I really want to have some color. I don't have time to lay out, tanning beds scare me and the spray tan is expensive. So I tried Coppertone and I love it! Apply it just like a lotion and wash your hands real good when you're done. After two applications, I had a mild tan! The first day, I think because I wasn't used to it, I did feel a bit orange... but the next day it looked awesome. I felt confident enough to wear a skirt. If you want an easy, inexpensive tan, this is the way to go!
Customer Review: Good Stuff!!! Summary: 4 Stars
So, it's not perfect, but nothing is! If you don't like the smell of it, which I myself don't preferably care for it, then take vaseline's cocoa butter lotion and mix together, problem solved. The only real problem I've had with the product is on the palms of my hands I get dark spots because of rubbing the lotion in...this can be taken care of w/gloves. I gave it a four star review, because it seems like a lot of work to make this product work for me...mixing it w/another lotion, wearing gloves, applying it and waiting for it to dry. But, i'll take it over skin cancer any day!!!
