Customer Review: No fishy taste or aftertaste!

This is the best form I've found for taking Omega-3, at least for myself, because when I knew I wanted to start getting more Omega-3's in my diet, I was concerned about the fishy taste or aftertaste of the regular pills, not to mention the fishy burps that supposedly come later! So, I tried these orange-flavored packets sometime last year, and I've been using them ever since and have never had the desire to even try anything else. I NEVER experience anything fishy about them, before or after, and the orange (the only flavor I've tried) actually tastes pretty decent. I mean, I wouldn't purposely want to eat it normally, but for something to take for health, it's no problem at all. It actually reminds me of the taste of those frozen orange-flavored Push-Ups some of us grew up on as kids -- in a non-frozen and more liquid, pudding-like form, of course. Besides, it's easier to take this pudding-like substance than to swallow a big pill, so I highly recommend them to anyone who's concerned about dealing with the fishy taste and/or pill form of other Omega-3 products out there.Customer Review: Works for my autistic son!

I'm not going to go on and on about this product - except to say - this stuff really works. My youngest son is autistic along with being pretty hyper. He couldn't stay focused on anything for more than 5-10 minutes. Shopping for an omega type product, I happened to stumble on Coromega. I read the reviews, read the history of the product, dived in and ordered it.
OK, I'm not one to spew much, but LORD this product works! In about two weeks, my boy has gone from being able to focus for only 5-10 minutes to 30 minutes! Can you believe that?? My husband and I are stoked. Again, (sorry if I'm beating a dead duck) we couldn't get our boy to focus on anything; now this product has really changed most of that. Of course there are still challenges, but Coromega has made it so much easier to face those challenges.
I will never be without this product again - ever! By the way, we're all taking it now and it has even helped my 15 year old focus better on his home work. Purchase this product, you won't be sorry:0)

This product was recommended by my child's teacher to help with focus for my intelligent, but ADHD, 2nd grader. It's only been a month of taking it and I don't see that it's an instant miracle cure- but I do think his focus does seem a little better. It offers sustantial amounts of omega 3 in a form that is easy to take- and without high fructose corn syrup or other questionable additives that some chews & other supplements have. Overall, I think it's a great product and plan to continue with giving it to him.
As for taste, the orange is better than lemon lime. It's not great but it is tolorable.
I give it to my son on a spoon (without the option to not take it),followed by a drink of something to wash it down. Lately he says he's okay without the drink and he's "more used to it now". It also helps to refrigerate it. This is a much better option than a pill in my opinion for a kid or an adult.
The price on amazon is very reasonable for what you get. I would recommend this product & seller.
Customer Review: Unpleasant taste, but a good source of omega-3 oils

When I eat a packet of this oil, the first taste that hits me is an unpleasant bitterness. Then a thick, overpoweringly artificial "orange" flavor. Then the sweetness comes on, but it too is overpowering--it does take away the bitterness but it's so strong it's unpleasant in its own way. The aftertaste is the artificial orange and a slight bitterness, but it disappears very quickly if you eat or drink anything (which can't be said of fish oil!)
I will still be buying this because I believe it's a quality form of omega-3 oils, but I could not call it delicious by any stretch.
Cons: Tastes bad: Too bitter, too sweet, heavy "artificial orange" taste
Pros: Quality blend of absorbable omega-3 oils, tastes less unpleasant than plain fish oil (with no "fishy" taste), convenient single-serving packets, and though the taste is unpleasant it is quickly and easily removed with food or water (unlike regular fish oil, which tends to linger.)

I must clarify that I LOVE fish as pets and water creatures in general. However, I have hated the taste and smell of edible fish since I was a child. Needless to say I haven't consumed much of it other than what they "made me eat" in my early childhood. Taking a supplement has become a necessity for me due to a certain health condition. I balked at the thought of ingesting anything related to fish! This product is the PERFECT SOLUTION for me. IT HAS NO FISH TASTE OR SMELL AT ALL and there are no side effects such as those people complain about with other supplements (fish burps, etc YUCK!) I mix it with yogurt or take it by itself. I wouldn't recommend putting the packet in your mouth like the lady in the video review did. When I tried it I almost got a cut on the side of my lips, something like a paper cut. I have only tried the orange flavored product but I'm a truly satisfied consumer, and you can take it from a life-long fish hater!
