Customer Review: Best Supplement That I Take

I cannot say enough positive things about this product. The orange flavor is fantastic, however it is initally rather strong and unexpected. It completely masks the fish oil and has very little after-taste. The whole family takes one packet a day which includes my 5 year old son. He has been taking the Coromega product for about 2 years now and initally we masked it in yogurt. Now he takes it "straight" and enjoys the flavor; we consider it a morning treat. Compared to fish oil tablets, you will not experience "fish burps" and other undesireable side effects.
The benefits of Omega-3 are well documented, but personally speaking I experienced less up/down minor depression cycles over the long term and it has helped with my knees and overall joint health. My son has moderate ADHD, and Omega-3 is one of the best natural supplements you can give your child if he is diagnosed with this spectrum disorder.

You can't argue with the mounting evidence that everyone should be getting more long chain Omega-3 fatty acids (improves immune system, lowers BP and bad cholesterol...) and this is an outstanding product if you can't stand the fish oil taste of most long chain Omega-3 products. Its content per dose is very good but not as high the most concentrated products because it has been cut with other ingredients to mask the taste, but if you are sensitive to the taste like my wife and kids are, this is the way to go.
Some reviews here still complain of fishy taste or an after taste, but if you mix it with a small amount of orange juice anyone would drink it. (Note: this is an oil based product so you can't just mix it into water based drinks like orange juice; you need to shake it like a vinaigrette).
My family loves this product.

I know I need my Omega3's, but can't afford to eat fatty fish every day and the capsules were almost impossible for me to take. When I did manage to take them, I'd 'repeat' fish all day, even with the odorless ones.
This is an excellent alternative. The manufacturer suggests that you may prefer it cold, I do. I take it, then drink some water to get rid of what is, for me, a very minor aftertaste. I'm very picky & I wasn't horribly bothered by it.
It can easily be stirred into yogurt or a smoothie, but I don't eat many carbs, so straight with a 'water back' is fine with me.
Until I have the money to switch to all grass-fed meats, this is what I'm going to take. I went to Coromega's website...wow, it's expensive there. Amazon has quite the deal going on. I'm planning to buy 2 or 3 more boxes while I can.

This is great for people who can't swallow pills. I was taking a tuna oil capsule prescribed by my doctor and only sold thru medical professional's office. This works almost as well. I can always tell how effective the omega3's I take are by the condition of my fingernails. This gives me nice nails but they are not quite as strong as with the capsules from the dr's office. I may just have to up the dosage of these. I found the taste to be very palatable with no fish aftertaste at all. Even if I burp this up it still tastes like orange and not fish. I just squeeze 2 packets right into my mouth and swallow all at once. I usually take this w/ breakfast so I can eat something to help get the orange taste out of my mouth. The flavor reminds me of a strong orange sherbet...not bad at all. I would definetely buy these again.Customer Review: Great product, no fish taste

It does have a VERY strong orange flavor, much like a strong orange creamsicle. It was overpowering to me at first (since I don't care for creamsicles) but my husband and 2.5 year old son both liked it right away. Either way, it's so much better than tasting fish!
My 2.5 year old enjoys taking it every day. My husband and I also take it daily. My husband says it has helped him focus more while he's at work and school. We have also noted a significant improvement in my son's speech since he started taking the suppliment; even his therapists have noticed an improvement. So far, we have been taking it about 3 months. Husband and son noticed changes after about a week and a half.
I haven't noticed an improvement in myself, but I continue to take it to pass anlong to my breast-feeding infant.
