I bought this because my mom was staying with me while recovering from an illness. It gets the job done and is stable enough if you just need to steady yourself while entering or exiting the tub. However, it was really hard to install and I would never recommend it for anyone who needs to put all their weight on it. Additionally, despite following the directions, the adhesive pads removed some of the finish from my tub.

The bar consists if a durable powder coated white finish with a strong steel construction. The extra large tub screw allows for easy installation, as well as a secure fit to tub frame. This bar will fit most tub walls from 3 to 5. Non-marring grip pads also allow a secure fit while protecting the surface of your tub. Handgrip and screw knob are finished in an attractive sand color.
