It's really a combination product. The actually color and the gloss stick. I find it works best on lips that are not dried out and are smoothe...First, put on the color, wait a minute and than apply the gloss. Without the gloss, I find this product to be very drying an it looks quite dry as well.

However, with the gloss it looks very good, without the gloss it doesnt really...so even tho I am not redo-ing the color all day I am applying the gloss. I don't mind this but some people may not wish to be doing this.

I like most of the colors available. I find the rose shades to look the best and the light frosted ones to be my least favorite. Without the gloss the more natural shades tend to still look good but without the gloss the frosted light ones just look strange.

The gloss alone is actually very nice too. It goes on extreamly easy and with no pulling or tugging of the lips. It feels quite moist while on and isn't sticky or think in any way.
I have worn the gloss alone or with other products.

If you don't mind reapplying the gloss this is the BEST product of its type.
