I use this CoverGirl eyeliner in Onyx to darken my upper lash line to a bold black, actually applying this between my lashes. It doesn't irritate my eyes at all, and if I cry, it doesn't run. It applies easily, and it doesn't have a sharp (ouch!) point like wooden eyeliners do. *And*, it's got great staying power. When I had university classes from 8am all the way to 9pm, this stuff stayed put. No smearing, no flaking. It does take some extra time with makeup remover at the end of the day, however, otherwise if you just try to do a fast face wash, quickly rubbing your eyes, it'll only smear onto your lower lids. Can you say raccoon? So, extra time to remove, but that's expected with its staying power.
It has everything I'm looking for my "everyday" eyeliner, so that why I've stuck with it for years.
