Simple to use. Cute. Quiet. Plastic smell noted by some went away after a few uses. No problems with the unit making wet spots on the floor or furniture as also noted by some. Tank cap does sometimes go on crooked, so that's a small annoyance. This is a replacement unit for the penguin model which stopped working after I accidentally spilled water inside it. Be careful when placing the tank back on its base that you don't get water in the air impeller.Customer Review: Adorable!

This works perfectly! It puts out just the right amount of vapor. I tried a couple different ones before this. The first didn't put out enough and the other made me feel like I was going to drown! It is so cute too! My son loves it! I love that it doesn't use those nasty wicks! And as a added bonus the mist rolls out like dry ice when the face is off. I'm going to use it at Halloween to make a "steaming brew" by taking off the face and decorating it!Customer Review: LOVE IT!

I researched several humidifiers before deciding on this one and I'm so glad I did. I was so frustrated with the others I had as they were so loud and buying new filters every few weeks was ridiculous! These Crane's (I ended up buying two more after I was so pleased with the first) are truly whisper quiet and do not use a filter. I let them soak in vinegar water every few days to keep them clean. What's not to love about this cute cow humidifier? My 18 month old son loves talking to his "friend" in the morning when he wakes. I purchased this humidifier specifically because it is ultrasonic and needs no filter (unlike many of the VICKS brand which we have used in the past) and the cute factor is a bonus. It runs whisper-silent, is easy to refill and adjust the moisture output and clean. Excellent design, excellent product.Customer Review: Not a good choice

The base arrived with a small crack in it. Filling the top with water and placing it on the base just caused the small crack to become a huge crack and needless to say, I had to send it back. I definitely do not recommend this product. Even if it did not arrive already cracked, it is so top-heavy that I really think it would have wound up cracked anyway due to the weight of the water pressing down on the flimsy plastic base.
