It does not work until it has been on and plugged in for over a minute, and then it is still intermittent. I called the manufacturer and they were no help. I would spend your money on one that is boring looking but will actually work for your sick kids when you need it. Absolute waste of money.Customer Review: Easy to maintain and quiet.

It's definitely adorable, my baby loves it, and it does its job. It barely makes noise (white noise helps anyways), easy to clean and refill (minor drips may occur while placing the container on top), and you can have as much or little humidity as you like. we had a different humidifier for my almost 3 year old and it had to be filled every night and typically ran out before morning.
This one lasts about 2 days and my Son loves his 'fire dragon'.
I loved this so much, I got the 'Duck' for my other kid.

this is a good humidifier. if you have hard water you have to purchase a filter and replace it i think every 3 months. if you dont use a filter you will get white powder all over the place.... but other than that, which is my water's fault...i like it...and it's cute.Customer Review: Complete Waste of Money

The humidifier stopped working after 2 months!! The service center is total waste..you have to ship the product to service center on your cost (which is half the cost of Humidifier!!) for any repairs.
Complete waste of money...buy at your own risk.
