We've tried several different brands of humidifiers and this one definitely wins. It's easy to clean and does a great job of keeping the humidity levels comfortable. I highly recommend this product. I should add that I only use distilled water (with a counter top distiller from Nutriteam purchased through Amazon) and the combination is just perfect.Customer Review: Don't waste your money on this one

It is cute, as the reviews say, but definitely cheaply made. also, doesn't last all night and quickly runs out of water. it has an auto shut off if you happen to leave it on and it runs out but after reading the review of the motor catching fire I will be returning this one. I'll be going with the honeywell HUT-102BP humidifier.Customer Review: Cute and works great!

I got one of these little guys for my bedroom (the penguin - cute!), and decided I needed another for my office (the dragon). They work great - not entirely silent, they do gurgle, but it's a nice soothing sound.
The only gripe I have, and it's not even really a gripe...the dragon doesn't have the mist coming out of his nostrils. That would have made him perfect. For some reason the mist comes out of his eyebrows which is a bit odd.
But regardless, they both work well and are easy to fill so I'm happy!

Comes out of the box ready to use, seems perfect for a child's room, just make sure you have the plastic face on tight or he will leak all over your floor. Would make more sense for a dragon to have the vapor coming out his nose... but clearly if that happened it would need to come with it's own bucket to catch the drips! I have never had any real experience with a humidifier before so I researched just about every brand out there, and every price. After a week of research I purchased the Crane elephant humidifier. So many reviews said they wished they had gotten this one instead of the other animals, and of all the negative reviews I could only find one pertaining to the elephant.
I have had the humidifier for a week now and it works like a charm. No more bloody noses or sore throats. It took me a few days to figure out that the humidifier works best if the bedroom door is at least partially shut. That way it can trap in the moisture. Perhaps that seems like an obvious answer, but with my lack of experience what can I say.
I keep it on full blast at night and it does trickle, however I find the noise actually helps me fall asleep. Most reviews said the green light is intrusive but again, I find no problem with it.
Initially I was concerned there could be leaking but I have had no issues here either. This little guy is the perfect solution and at a price you can't beat.
