I ordered this sample vial after reading about Creed on their Web site. This former British, now French, House, keeps the old tradition and handcrafting techniques of the 18th. Century perfumers alive: they still look for rare flowers in exotic places and still extract their essences with Alchemical like ways. Vetiver is perhaps an aroma that will fit the tastes of mature, tradition oriented buyers, but, no doubt, it is also suited for savvy younger ones. If a fragance is the most portable form of intelligence (a Web author dixit), then Creed creates it with a taste that will remind you of old plush magnificent eras, like if a time traveller would have come from the late 18th. Century to bring it as a balm for our busy times of mass produced, synthetic and downclassed personal care products.
