This is a serious issue. Before finding Glide Original flossing was uncomfortable and a chore. Other brands would break numerous times before completing and quite often I'd wind up with a piece of floss stuck uncomfortably in my mouth for the better part of the day.
My dental technician doesn't approve of waxed floss but she'd break her regular floss a number of times and would have to use such force at times that I'd feel like she was going to yank some teeth straight out of my mouth; just ridiculous. Yet she'd have to admit that since I started using the Original my gums have gone from a bleeding mess to the best of health.
Because the Original is so hard to find I've tried the Comfort Plus - an absolute rip off. As I worked my way through a half dozen packs or so the Comfort Plus would break and break but the best part, the Comfort Plus would keep splitting within its packaging and jamming so I'd have to pull the package apart and properly rewind the floss back on to its spindle. I've never had that problem with the Original.
I sure hope that the Original is not being phased out to be replaced by the Comfort Plus or some such uselessness. This would not certainly bode well for the future of my mouth.
