My rating is 4.75 stars, which I then round up to 5. When I as told I'd be on crutches for 6 weeks, I wanted every advantage. This turned out to be the best purchase. Bags with a strap that hang over my neck and held in front are great, and actually necessary for large items, but are too easy to forget and leave behind sitting on a chair/floor--and when you are on crutches "going back" is like having someone telling a non-crutch person to give 'em 10 push-ups, ARGHHHH. This guy is ALWAYS on your new leg waiting to assist. My only complaint as one other reviewer said, is that there isn't a big gap between the handle and the top of the tote so you have to sort of wiggle your fingers in on that side, something I got used to, but still annoying from time to time--hopefully [...] is listening and will improve on this. The denim fabric is appropriate.
For those that don't want to use this, and those that do, I'd suggest cargo pants as those side pockets are handy.
A word of encouragement to those just getting on crutches; go slow at first (I strained one arm doing too much the first few days, regretful--don't do that! :)), if you take it easy for a week or two, your arms will build up strength and moving around on crutches get's easier then. Three weeks into crutches I felt like I could do months on end in them if I had to without problem. Hang in there, it gets better. I'd also recommend a "TENS Unit", but this might not be for everyone I realize.
