Customer Reviews of CytoSport Muscle Milk, Chocolate, 2.47 PoundCustomer Review: Great protein supplement Summary: 4 Stars
Muscle milk is a great protein supplement. Its tasty, low carb, and high protein. It also contains a lot of other useful nurtients and vitamins. Some of the flavors are weird - I would stay away from exotic flavors like orange creme. Stick with Chocolate (or my other fav - Mocha Joe) and you'll be set. I acutally use these as meal replacements shakes as well as pre/post workout nutrition. 1 scoop (2 is too much) in a glass of milk is enough to hold me over all morning until lunch time.
Customer Review: Excellent protein Summary: 4 Stars
One of the best tasting protein supplements I've found. Truly tastes like a milk shake. Good protein content. At $25 a bottle, a great price also...
I noticed that GNC now prices the Muscle Milk proteins at the exact same price that Amazon has been providing to us for years...I'd like to believe this is because the power of the Internet changed how greedy stores price their products. GNC was charging almost $45 dollars for the exact same bottle...
Thanks Amazon!
Customer Review: Good material Summary: 5 Stars
The Chocolate Milk formula is very good. And when I compare it to some of the other garbage I've had over the years, it's downright awesome. For breakfast, add to a blender: a tablespoon of crunchy peanut butter, an 8 oz. cup of non-fat, sugar-free vanilla yogurt, a banana, just one scoop of Muscle Milk, a cup and a half of skim milk, and some ice cubes. As a post-workout drink, two scoops of Muscle Milk with just cold water within an hour of leaving the gym and you're good.
Customer Review: Get the Light Version - Summary: 5 Stars
EAS (chocolate) comes in a huge zip lock bag you can squeeze the air out of each time, and has less fat & calories. It just doesn't taste as good as Muscle Milk does. I mix it (EAS)with unsweetened soy milk. It's what I have right now - besides it's cheaper. :)
Muscle Milk (chocolate milk shake) regular is yummy, but has so much sunflower oil in it it's way too fattening & has too many calories. I didn't know about the Creme Brulee flavor... hmmm.
Customer Review: can't recommend Summary: 1 Stars
I really can't recommend this stuff.
--The Vanilla Creme flavor that I ordered tastes like coconut, yuck. Which would be fine if that's what I was expecting, but it's not what I want after a workout.
--The powder does not dissolve well at all. It clumps up into little "protein balls" which are unpleasant to swallow.
--The high fat content of this stuff does not agree with my stomach at all, especially when I am working out.
