This very strange name just means that it is a nontraditional shampoo. What I mean is this, shampoo lathers, No Poo does not lather. There has been several reports over the years that the chemicals used to make soap lather are dangerous, so Devachan took them out. That aside, this non lathering shampoo takes a bit of getting used to but it it is an amazingly, hair healthy product!
