Masks such as this are effective at slowing the transmission of all airborne infectious diseases. True, the filter size will let in virus particles, but virus particles are usually contained in aerosolised droplets of sputum due to coughing and sneezing, and these droplets ARE effectively caught. They will offer some protection to a healthy person, but are most effective when worn by a sick person to reduce the load of aerosolised infectious particles.Customer Review: kuddles001

These masks were just what my wife needed. She is allergic to almost any type dust. These masks allow her to have a more rewarding time working in the yard with her flowers and plants. SHE IS ABOUT TO WORK ME TO DEATH! Seriously, these masks do really help her and she has stopped caughing and enjoys herself more because of them. Thank you Very, Very much. By making her life better, you have helped me too.

The masks just arrived. But not 50 in a box but 30 in a little plastic bag.
I logged to comment on this product purchased from BP Medical Supplies. However, the ordered item now appears to be sold from Set 4 Baby. Same company, different name? Who knows.
Buyer beware.
UPDATE: After contacting the seller, BP medical made good on the order and shipped a second bag of 30 masks.

Had tried several molded masks for working in the yard during allergy season. This mask is so much better in giving protection as well as comfort. I hardly noticed that I was wearing them! They are decent in not fogging the glasses as well.
Additionally, they have a stick on the top that can be adjusted to fit the nose shape. This made the mask fit quite snugly without being uncomfortable.

These are handy to keep in my pockets and great for going out. I am getting hungry though. I was eating at Wendys and ordered the baconator sandwich. I couldn't figure how to get it in mouth with the mask on. Kind of difficult. I ended up having them put it in a blender and I drank it though a straw like a frosty. Thats why I only give it 4 stars. How do I eat with this on? Maybe a big hole where the mouth is?
