I can't say enough about this product....but I'll try:
I have been suffering (off and on) with peridontal disease for the past ten years. A little over a year ago I had a severe flareup.
I went to a dentist who put me on antibiotics and told me I needed
to return for follow-up treatments. I couldn't afford the visits (I don't have to tell anyone how expensive dental care is---even with health insurance, which I don't have). I was in horriffic pain and wound up losing a tooth. Desperate for relief, I began searching the internet for advice on home treatment of peridontal disease. I came across a website created by a dentist who recommended the use of Brushpicks for those who have problems using dental floss (I never could get the hang of it). So, I went to Wal-Mart and found Doctor's Brushpicks. The first time I used them, I was amazed at what my toothbrush had been leaving behind all these years. Between the food particles and my bleeding gums, it was NO wonder I was in such bad shape. I also began a daily regimen of high doses of Vitamin C (I read where peridontal disease is directly related to Vitamin C deficiency), brushing my teeth and gums three times a day with a good-quality soft toothbrush and rinsing my mouth twice a day with Listerine. Gradually the pain and bleeding began to diminish (it took about four months). When I ran out of Doctor's Brushpicks, I returned to Wal-Mart---and to my dismay, discovered they no longer carried them. All they had was an off-brand, which proved stiff and uncomfortable to use. So, I began searching for Doctor's Brushpicks on the internet...and, Viola! I found them on Amazon and ordered a year's supply.
It's not very often, especially in this day and age, when advertised products actually deliver what they promise. But, I am here to tell everyone that Doctor's Brushpicks does just that...and thensome. They helped to control my peridontal disease and saved my remaining teeth.
