I don't know what the reviewer who said these were AA batteries in a D shell was talking about. These are heavy batteries, just like any regular alkaline D battery. I bought the because I've had D cells leak in some electronics before (Rayovac seems to be the worst) and I'm hoping the "pro" on these means they are more leak resistant. I installed them in a boom box in mid Feb 2010 and will update this review if I ever see them leaking, but so far I haven't had any problem with these and they're actually pretty reasonable on price.Customer Review: Exactly the same as Coppertops on the inside

These procell batteries are exactly the same technical specs as the regular coppertops. The only difference is packaging and price. I, for one, am more than happy to forego the plastic packaging that requires a knife and band-aids to open. The only downside is that the box contains all 12 batteries in one box, without any sub-boxes. The box itself is poorly made and falls apart once opened, so plan on storing the loose batteries somewhere if you are not using all 12 at once.Customer Review: Used?

I order a box of these batteries since I have used them before and they have always worked great. When I received them they had a parts number label on them from a completely different vendor (Grainger) attached to them and the box had been opened and repacked. So far these batteries have perfromed just as well as every other Duracell battery but I was not happy with the fact that I know the item had been on a self at another company before being sold here.Customer Review: Long lasting!

These batteries last longer than any other battery I've used. They were used in my twins' swing. This swing gets very heavily used, probably close to 6 or 8 hours a day! With these batteries the swing was able to function for at least two weeks (probably closer to three, but I don't remember the exact date I put them in). Other D batteries in the swing have lasted barely a week with our usage. They're worth the price if you ask me!Customer Review: Procell Seconds ??

Like several other purchasers, the product box was scuffed up, split open, and the batteries were loose in the shipping box. They had obviously been opened. I have to wonder if they are used or even genuine. They have a Mar 2017 date but I haven't tried them yet to see if they have a charge. This seems to be a recurring problem with these. Come on Amazon, if you are selling seconds, be up front about it.
