If your teeth grinds during sleep or it clinches you should purchase this mouth guard. Ever since my sister informed me sometimes I grind my teeth during sleep I jumped on Amazon right away looked for a mouth guard and bought this one based on reviews. I hear grinding your teeth is horrible for your health so I decided to protect my teeth. It feels awkward at first sleeping with the guard in your mouth but after a couple of days I got used to the feeling and it became normal. It does the job and its inexpensive so it works for me.Customer Review: Great Mouthguard

I am about to order my 2nd one of these. Mouthguards have never lasted very long with me. Almost every style and brand has been in my mouth. This is by far the best guard for the money. While these do not compare to the professional guards, they are pretty close. It costs me $200-300 for a professional guard and well, for $20 you can have something close. I have put just about every non-pro brand in my mouth Dr's etc and none come close to this one. If you go thru guards often, give these a shot. I too was trying to avoid the $300 fee my dentist wanted to charge. It took me four tries but I finally got this thing to fit correctly. The first three tries I had too much pressure on my front teeth and they were hurting. Finally redid the guard holding it away from my front teeth thereby making it looser. Voila!!! It worked. There is a downside. It's bulky. I had a guard made by my dentist years ago and it was for the lower teeth and much slimmer. Wish this was both those things but I'm cheap so it's working for me.Customer Review: Does NOT work with a nightly retainer! Otherwise good I suppose.

If you wear a nightly retainer, then this won't work for you. I tried molding both of the plastics to conform to my mouth with the retainer in it, and they don't work. I tried it again without the retainer, and it seemed fine. A big cumbersome either way, but I suppose someone could get used to that. But in any case, if I have to choose between my retainer and a night guard, then I clearly have a problem. Sadly, I had to return this product for that reason. Straight teeth trump keeping a cheap night guard any day.Customer Review: Very good!

I bought this product because I was under a lot of stress and started to grind my teeth at night while I was sleeping. Because I have a small mouth I chose the smaller of the two guards provided. I thought this product was extremely easy to mold (just remember to align the two front teeth with the indicated point on the front of the guard or else it might fit funny). At first it seemed too bulky and often feel out, but my mouth eventually got used to it and now it stays in all night. I highly recommend this product.
