If your teeth grinds during sleep or it clinches you should purchase this mouth guard. Ever since my sister informed me sometimes I grind my teeth during sleep I jumped on Amazon right away looked for a mouth guard and bought this one based on reviews. I hear grinding your teeth is horrible for your health so I decided to protect my teeth. It feels awkward at first sleeping with the guard in your mouth but after a couple of days I got used to the feeling and it became normal. It does the job and its inexpensive so it works for me. This nightguard would be alot better if it provided a size that is in between the larger and smaller one provided. The larger one was too big and felt like the mouthguards I used to wear to play football and the smaller one didn't fit. It would be great if the this nightguard was thinner than the thick plastic it came with but I guess its better than paying $400 at the dentist. Customer Review: Not comfortable, pushes out your lips

You would be better off spending the money to get a custom one fitted by your dentist. It will be a lot more comfortable and won't have all the excess plastic like this one does. It pushes out your lips and is not comfortable. I guess it's better than nothing but it's worth the $150-$200. to get a custom one from your dentist, especially if your dental insurance will cover it. Even if not, I would still perfer a custom one over this product.
The custom one from my dentist is like night and day.

The kit comes with two separate mouth guards and depending on your mouth size, you choose which one works best for you... Because it is not custom made for your mouth its not going to be a perfect fit, but it does the job... Sure, its not perfectly comfortable, I guess I didn't expect it to be anyway because it is a piece of plastic in your mouth, but it is not that bad. You do get used to it with time. Honestly, it has helped me from hurting my teeth while I sleep... the tooth pain that I had to endure from clenching my jaw at night was so bad that Im thankful that I was able to find this and not have to pay a much higher price for a custom made one.
