Shipping was right on time, price was great but the blades themselves left a lot to be desired. I had a total of 4 shaves with two different blades in both an EJ and Merkur razor. After a 4 pass shave I still needed a shave. The one plus? No nicks at all. I have heard from others that these blades work for them. They didn't for me. I gave these a try after using the feather blades, which are a lot sharper. I definately like the sharpness/irratability ratio of these blades, BUT only after the first shave on the blade. The very first shave on a new blade always drags/pulls on my hair. After the "break-in" shave, they perform very well. I've used both Merkur and Derby blades, and I've found the results to be the same. The Derby blades, however, are a much better deal. If you have your doubts and don't want to commit to the box of 100 blades just yet, go with a smaller order and try them out first. If you end up liking them order the 100 pack, it'll save you a lot of money..Customer Review: Decent shave, great value

I get pretty good results with these blades. Reasonably close, no major cuts or irritation. About on par with Merkur blades. There are blades that work better for me (Wilkinson Sword), but we are all different, and what's right for me may not be right for you.
Can't beat the value though. This is a high quality blade.

I have been using a safety razor for about 20 years. These blades are as good if not better than Merkur and much better than other US brands (Gilette, CVS etc). They are also less than 1/2 the price of Merkur. I have a heavy beard, and do a great job with very infrequent cuts. I get about 5-6 shaves out of each blade.
