Inside this overnight clearing gel, its nothing more than Salicylic Acid 2%. I mean paying $30 BUCK for Salicylic Acid its a bit expensive. You can easily purchase generic brands at pharmacies for much lower price. I think you are not suppose to wear any moisturizer over this gel.... if you do, it completely rubs off. If you have REALLY oily skin and it bothers you that in the evening you need to apply a moisturizer, i would recommend this as a moisturizer that would not clog your pores. but i don't know if i will pay $30 BUCK for some aloe vera+salicylic acid though... just my opinion. but its not a bad product just not that effective.

Description of Dermalogica Overnight Clearing Gel 1.7 fl oz

Recommended for acneic and breakout-prone skin. An overnight treatment designed to help clear skin congestion and help prevent future breakouts. A Vitamin B complex of Niacinamide and Biotin combined with Zince Gluconate, Yeast Extract, Caffeine and Nordihydroguaiaretic Acid soothes irritation, inhibits overactive sebaceous gland activity and purifies. Rosemary and Spiraea extracts inhibit the growth of acnegenic bacteria while stimulating the skin's natural antimicrobial agents for clearer, healthier skin. Salicylic Acid sloughs off pore-clogging skin cells to inhibit development of further breakouts, while naturally antiseptic Tea Tree Oil assists in skin-healing. Contains no artificial fragrance or color.
