Customer Review: Didn't work for me

I purchased this product based on all the positive customer reviews. The fact that these patches didn't work AT ALL for me, leads me to believe that either A.) the reviews were bogus propaganda created by the makers or B.) the patches simply work for some people and not others.
I tried these patches on my trip to Bonaire. I wore two patches (because I take birth control) continually, changing them as directed. I was eaten alive.
One thing I will say for the company is that they offer a free sample of their product on their website. So I do recommend giving them a try. What have you got to lose? Except a little blood...

Customer Review: ADHD on Medication - needs extra bug protection

My 9yo has ADHD. Her medication changes her body PH and smell. She attracts butterflies, mosquitos, and ticks. She goes to summer camp where it is infested with bugs.
The patch is waterproof and she does not have to apply bug spray after swimming. I put the patch on in the morning and take if off when we get home. It does slightly irritate her skin not itchy just gets a little pink. I put 1 patch and a half on her and the other half on my 6yo. Half seems to be plenty for my youngest as she is not on medication. I love that its safe and it works.
They do smell a little like vitamins but nothing that they notice very mild.

These patches are: a) a bit difficult to put on; b) seemingly effective for mosuitos; c) not at all effective for those pesky, tiny biting gnats. The main reason I got them was to help fend off the gnats more so than mosquitos, but the patches were ineffective in our battle. They did keep mosquitos off. We had a bit Memorial Day bbq with about 40 or so people and some refused to wear the patch for some reason. Those that did wear the patch didn't get a single mosquito bite while those that didn't wear them had a few. If anyone out there has a remedy for the biting gnats I'd love to hear it... nothing seems to work.Customer Review: Works!

This is a great product. We live in a rural location, where there are TONS of biting insects. I have tried every topical insect repellent out there.....the mosquitos will continue to bite me even through 25% DEET. Out of desperation, I tried these patches. I have not had one single bite since putting a patch on! Frankly, I consider it a miracle. However, I do smell like a walking bottle of strong vitamins. I guess the scent/odor is better than being mauled by biting bugs, because I keep putting a new patch on every 36 hours. This is an innovative solution and worth a try if you suffer from lots of bites.Customer Review: Mosquitoes, beware!

This past summer was the first time we have used the "Don't Bite Me Patches" with our three grandchildren during our annual Grandparents Camp. Two of the children have always seemed to be mosquito magnets, and we have fought the battle with all sorts of sprays and lotions designed to keep the bugs from ruining their outings. Nights were often spent searching for the right anti-itch balm to allow the children to sleep. Wearing the new patches gave the children freedom to be outside without the resulting horrible bites. I strongly recommend them to anyone who attracts the summer pests!
