I LOVE this product! We live near a big swamp and the mosquitoes are wicked. I tried spraying our whole 3 acre yard and using natural as well as DEET repellents. I would always end up getting eaten alive after 30 minutes, no matter how much stuff I put on. In desperation I tried these patches last year, not expecting much. Lo and behold they WORKED!!!! No bites after being out all day! It was a miracle! I put half a patch on my kids and it worked great. I have already ordered my patches for this year and I do not intend to spray our yard with chemicals this year.Customer Review: Best Bug Protection Available!

Although I personally do not seem to attract pesky critters such as mosquitoes or No-seeums, my husband is particularly susceptible to them. The Don't Bite Me Patch has been a god-send to him. I recently took some of the patches along on our trip to Costa Rica and he was never bothered by any insects. I gave them to a couple of fellow travelers who were thrilled with the results of the patch after being out in the rain forest for the day. No bites! Wonderful for use with kids especially. This is the most effective product I've ever used - kept 100% of the bugs from bitting me in a heavily infested area (where I was eating dinner). However, my husband's experience was less successful. Why it is only 4 stars.
I continue to happily use this as the only bug repellent product where my husband uses it along with a backup product.
Recommend buying the 5 patch package to test effectiveness for your body type.

The "Don't bite me" patch was reviewed in a Chicago newspaper and I decided to try it out. It is convenient because it can be worn under clothing. You must keep in mind that the patch must be applied two hours before going out. Another plus is that it lasts for 36 hours. It does work, and very well! When I use these up, I'll buy some more. One last plus: it has no UNPLEASANT SMELL.Customer Review: Smells like urine

I don't know if the product actually works, but it smells strongly of urine, like a baby's wet diaper. My daughter wouldn't keep it on because it "smelled like pee." I sat next to my son and asked "what smells like "pee?", forgetting he had the patch on. Unpleasant enough that I'm not sure I'll keep trying it because I don't want to walk around smelling like I wet my pants.
