Customer Reviews of Dr. Natura Colonix All Natural Intestinal Cleanser, 360gCustomer Review: Works if you follow instructions Summary: 4 Stars
Kind of weird writing a review for an intestinal product, but here goes. I have used this product for about 3 cleanses, the first in the summer of 2003, I think. I am also doing a cleanse now.
The most important thing I could tell you about this product/cleanse is this; Drink your water. Don't concern yourself with the other products from Dr. Natura. I have tried the Kleri-tea and the Paranil, the former caused highly uncomfortable cramping, and the latter did...well, nothing. (I have tried Jim's Colon Pills, and they were the only parasite-killing pill that ever worked for me, actually killed 3 kinds of parasites, I witnessed this while on them for just a week trial, which the company paid for in full. (Not sure they still share free samples or not.
I have heard good things about Humaworm, so I plan to try their brand for the heckuvit.) Anyway, the flavor of the fiber mixed with plain water is akin to a hell I am not prepared to describe or re-live. Ok that was a little hyperbolic and dramatic. Here is my recipe, which makes it palatable enough for me to choke it down daily without complaint.
Save yourself the frustration and buy a Blenderbottle, you're an Amazon shopper, so I take it you can find one right quick.
Pour it at least half full of water, add Colonix fiber, some cocoa (I prefer Nativas Naturals Cacao Powder, which is raw.) I add about a scant tablespoon, maybe less. Then I add Nutiva Organic Hempshake, which also contains fiber, but I take it to add flavor.
I then add maybe 1/2 cup more water on top of that, close the BlenderBottle ( I can live without the BB, but who'd want to?) and shake really well. I then pour half of the mixture into a large glass and add EVEN MORE water and stir well. Ha. I drink this in short order. Then I take the other half, add enough water so it isn't too thick or gloppy, and down that. By then, your stomach may feel like a over-filled water balloon, so you should never eat right before your daily fiber. And don't worry, the feeling---it'll pass. Later, when you take a nice healthy poo (there really is no polite way to say that, LOL) you will silently thank me for your satisfaction. You're welcome.
If you get thirsty, drink some room-temperature water, for better absorption. Try to avoid too cold of drinks, they just don't sink into your system so well. I try to drink a cup of warm tea before I take my fiber. You can hardly have enough liquid when taking a crap-ton of fiber, some pun intended. You should notice some high-qual poo. If you listened, like a good student, you avoided the pitfalls of the Kleri-tea, and are doing quite well. I also take a product called Boku Super Cleanse (I am referring to Step 1) which keeps the fiber moving through my system, so no back-ups. It is semi-spendy, so use at your own discretion/budget. Take all other supplements about 2 hours before or 2 hours after the fiber, otherwise they will not absorb. Set a timer.
As long as you are getting enough water, and pacing yourself (if you're not used to extra fiber, slow the heck down and take smaller amounts, working your way up)you should be fine. I can handle at least 1.5 scoops per use, maybe 2 at a time. It's up to you. Try to eat healthier, so the fiber moves right. Go to Mercola.com and take the Nutritional Typing Quiz for free (limited time, I think) and eat according to your type, it will help you be thinner or gain weight, whatever your needs. It's good stuff. But I digress.
The blender bottle is a worthy investment, and can also be used for protein shakes, or anything you want to mix efficiently (making salad dressing, what have you) without a lot of fiddle-jacking around. I have a couple of them, they rock super-hard. If you need more info, ask. I will get an e-mail if you comment. Some great sites for health are curezone.com, naturalnews.com, and mercola.com. All amazing resources for research which have eaten up many an hour of my young life, but it was time well-spent. Now go do something good for your health, and beat some major donkey in your life. You deserve that. Make sure to work out, try strength training and highly-effective interval training, try praying, and being more positive. Nothing gets done if we're all laying around thinking how bad things are. The better you are, the better we all are. Do the research, ask the questions, don't be afraid of the answers.
I never am.
Now go and Be well.
Note:
Not every person will have the same results with *any* product.
10 people can take the same herb or supplement and get 10 separate results. If you try something, listen to your body. It speaks to you. Some people experience a Herxheimer reaction, which is a feeling of sickness/symptoms caused by toxins. This often makes you feel unwell enough to want to quit your detox. I tend to just get over it, don't be a namby-pamby, and keep the detox going. But if you do feel the need to stop using a product, don't feel bad, your unique body chemistry may just not play well with that particular product.
Take heed.
Description of Dr. Natura Colonix All Natural Intestinal Cleanser, 360gThe Colonix Intestinal Cleanser is a fiber supplement that cleanses the colon of accumulated toxic build-up and prevents the formation of new build-up through the use of herbal dietary fiber. Continued use of the Colonix Intestinal Cleanser keeps the digestive tract from getting clogged up with mucus, toxins and metabolic waste. It helps to keep the colon clean and waste matter moving freely and efficiently. Fiber also helps maintain a healthy intestinal flora and absorbs toxins in the colon by creating a spongy, gelatinous mass in the bowels. By swelling and absorbing fluids, it breaks down and moves toxic waste matter stuck in the folds and crevices of the colon. A clean colon inhibits harmful bacteria and parasites from surviving on human waste...
