When I try to sleep at night, I need it to be absolutely dark. Unfortunately, I have a roommate that has a ton of technology that has a tendency to glow. At night, you could turn off all the lights in the room and there would be an soft glow of LED lights all around me. After I got the mask, I have been able to sleep so much better, the lights are completely blocked out and I can finally get some peace. The mask is very comfortable and fits snugly around my face.
The only downside to this (as I'm sure with any other mask) is that I can't sleep on my side. It tends to get pushed into an uncomfortable position. I've learned to sleep on my back, but I would have preferred something that could accommodate other sleeping positions. Besides that, this is a great product!

My schedule is not strictly nine to five and my bedroom window faces the rising sun, so I needed either a sleep mask or light blocking shades. Not wanting to change the decor too much, I opted for a sleep mask. This Dream Essentials contoured mask gets the job done.
The mask is molded foam with a soft, satiny cover, and it fits in such a way that you can open your eyes with the mask on without discomfort. Even the velcro strap is comfortable, I swear. It's not too springy, so it won't go on too tight unless you pull it on too tight, and the velcro is the softer kind that doesn't get stuck in your hair.
My only (mild) caveat is that when I had a sinus infection, the nose piece felt just a little too tight. At all other times it fit like a dream!

Without a doubt, this is the best sleep mask that I've ever owned. However, I'm not a great connoisseur of sleep masks, so I realize that is not a ringing endorsement.
The mask is comfortable, easily adjustable and the contours keep it from pressing against your eyes when you sleep. That's much better than any mask I've owned otherwise and makes me more willing to use this mask when I'm trying to sleep in a bright room.
My only minor gripe about the mask is the inevitable light leakage around my nose. While this mask blocks more light than any other that I've tried, it still does not immerse me in the absolute pitch blackness that I've been looking for.
Beyond that personal pickiness, this is a great mask at a great price.

I brought this after needing a way to get to sleep without having to rely on taking supplements almost every night. I was truly desperate and needed to get my body back to sleeping on it's own. I had never tried using a sleep mask before, so I thought it would be good to give it a try. Also the price,photos,ratings,and reviews helped me make up my mind. The first night I used it I got the best sleep that I had ever had in a long time! It's my third night and I am so impressed with how blocking out the sound and sight has worked! The only thing that would have made it perfect was to make the elastic band more resilient, or somehow have a more customizable way to tighten it for people like me with small heads. I am pleased with this mask as it's design seems well thought out being very light weight and comfortable. A key feature for me was the contoured eye covers which allow for the eyes to open without coming in contact with the mask. Before I slept with the mask on, I ran a test with the lights on, first off this mask is an absolute blackout with one exception. I was able to find a slight light leak around the nose piece which was so insignificant that I literally had to look down to notice it. My purchase came with a small nylon bag and set of ear plugs which surprisingly I found to be very useful. I usually don't wear ear plugs; however, the design of these are so amazing that I hardly felt them in my ears. Overall wonderful purchase, highly recommended.
