The mask blocks out about 95% of light but is somewhat uncomfortable and the strap does not fit over/behind the ears properly, unless the mask is moved higher on the face, which then lets in more light. Also, unless you are planning on sleeping on your back all night, the mask will shift if you move to your side. Customer Review: Overall a good sleep mask!

This is a good sleep mask! I previously had a small, black satin sleep mask that worked but put pressure on my eyes. I really like how it gives your eyes room to move. I sleep even more restfully now. It blocks out more light than your standard convenience store eye masks, and only lets a little bit peek through because of the way the nose is shaped. It's kind of unavoidable without sacrificing pressure on your nose. Very comfortable. I barely feel that it's there. It looks a little big (makes me look a bit like a bug), but I don't care, because I'm sleeping much better. I recommend it!Customer Review: LIGHT COMES IN

This item looks good from the pictures but when I recieved and tried it out thats another story.
Light gets in around the nose area because the mask has no support.
When you don this mask light appears at the bottum of mask around the nose and lower eyes.
They need to design a way so that the lower portion of mask will remain against your face.
Right now there is no support so there is always a gap.

This mask was the cheapest contured one I found. With it fitting over the nose so well, it blocks out more sun and with the eye contures, I don't wake up with swelled eyes anymore!
