Those at Amazon... I appreciate your work and company.
I just received an exercise peddler, but it is certainly not the one I ordered. What was received is an exercise peddler Model # 10270KDRSV-1, made bY "drive MEDICAL DESIGN & MANUFACTUREING", delivered by MDK Ventures Internet A/C... DBA Medical Department Store.
It appears that the price on Amazon for the model received I 32.50... I paid 45.49 for a Pedlar... NOT drive MEDICAL DESIGN & MANUFACTUREING!!
What was received looks like a piece of junk. The unit is for my father to help him recover from a broken hip, so I did a lot of research and decided on the Pedlar... the one ordered.
As far as the unit itself, it looks junky. We have had experience with other peddlers for our other parents and quality is important. Previous peddlers will fall apart in the bushing area and the crank will start to wobble. Anti skid is very important too. I wouldn't try to use any of these as an exercise tool, but a good peddler is great for rehabiltaion from surgery or injury.
This is clearly a rip-off. I don't blame Amazon, but I do expect Amazon to take action and drop this vendor.

Follow on... this unit is still a piece of junk, but as within a hour of submitting a claim on Amazon to the vendor, I got a call. He applogized, we talked about the shipping company and how they receive the orders and grab anything that looks like the order. He also said that the Pedlar is a much better unit. I should be receiving the Pedlar in a few days. I was impressed with the quick response... but one has to wonder how many people will not realize they did not get exactly what they ordered.
